Mr. Whiskersnuff Rabbit by Kitty Legge

Synopsis:
When Kitty buys the scruffy stuffed rabbit from a thrift store, the least she expects is for it to turn into a special friend with an extraordinary story to tell.

Mr. Whiskersnuff, as the toy introduces himself, has gone a long way from his first home. His journey has taken him to the arms of two little girls who have showered him with affection, and to different places he has explored-all in pursuit of the one thing that defines his being and gives him worth-the love of a special human with whom he will share his next adventures.

Although not dedicated nor mentioned, a hidden reference is still there for that child who is still looking for that special someone. Some readers may relate to Mr. Whiskersnuff's story while others will just see a story.

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed reading this cute little chapter book. The author weaves a tale so believable that you can't help but relate to the main characters. I loved that while Mr. Whiskersnuff had grand adventures, he was still happy just to be wanted by whomever his "owner" was at the time. The story line was great and the author's writing style was easy to read and understand. I recommend this book to those starting to read chapter books :)
